What is the difference between Chao Pelo and Always Beautiful?
When our company first started we were designing headwear for fashion only. We used the name Chao Pelo which means "Good-bye Hair" in Spanish. As more people became aware of our product we started receiving many e-mails and calls from women experiencing hair loss due to cancer treatments, alopecia, and other medical conditions. We welcomed the feedback from oncology patients who asked us to design a headwrap with more coverage. The Gabriela is a result of their feedback. When our new design was completed we realized that the name Chao Pelo was insensitive to those experiencing hair loss. Consequently, we searched for a name that we felt would exemplify our intent to help beautiful women continue to feel beautiful during a very trying time in their lives; hence the name Always Beautiful (Always Beautiful). As our business developed, we observed that our customers were buying both the Kristen and the Gabriela for fashion and for hair loss. They are interchangeable. The determining factors in deciding which style to choose are the size of your head and the amount of coverage that you desire. If your purchase is for fashion or to use on a "bad hair" day it is a Chao Pelo headwrap. If your purchase is for coverage due to hair loss it is a Always Beautiful headwrap.

How do I tie/wear my new headwrap?
If you look closely at the photographs of our headwraps you will notice they are made to be worn forward on the forehead, just above the eyebrows.

Center the wrap by lining up your nose with the center of the two seams on the crown portion. Pull forward until the headband is just above your eyebrows. Make a square knot in the ties OVER the tail in back. Now tug on the end of the tail to secure the wrap snugly on your head.

Of course, feel free to wear the wrap in whatever way feels most comfortable and looks the best on YOU! As every face is different, these are guidelines only.

If I am experiencing hair loss, should I purchase the Gabriela style headwrap?
The style of wrap you purchase depends on the look you want to achieve and the size of your head. If you have a medium to small head we suggest the Kristen style. While both the Kristen and Gabriela styles are very similar they differ in the following ways. The Gabriela has more fabric offering a fuller look. The tail of the Gabriela is longer and the ties are longer and wider offering more coverage for the back of the head and the neck. From a side view, the Gabriela covers the ears, while the Kristen design covers only the top of the ear. There is also more fullness to the front of the Gabriela. The band has two front seams enabling it to lie flat against the forehead yet offer fullness to the top of the head. If you have a larger head and /or desire maximum coverage we suggest the Gabriela. For those with hair loss, 70% choose the Kristen design.
